What a great album this is... "16 lovers lane" by THE GO BETWEENS in 1988...was 16 at that time and really enjoyed it...as i hope you will !!

Made all these "out of tracks" mixes from compilations i recorded throughout the years since 2004...as time passed by,they became more folk-pop oriented and then since this winter really indie-pop axed, as i fell in love again with the shoegaze area and the Sarah Records recordings (songs i was born to music with, at the end of the 80s)...
As the "out of tracks" 1 and 2 links are dead and gone (thank you mediafire!!) i tried to build other mixes more or less the same (but slightly different you'll see)

My dear friends, sorry to say that this is the last "out of tracks" mix (for the moment...)...
Opening with a wonderful mix of DOVES' "almost forgot myself" and ending with a beautiful campfire version of LOVIN' SPOONFUL's "you're a big boy now" by its singer John Sebastian in 1967...and in-between, some great tracks like this JONI/JAMES duo on JAMES' "close your eyes" in 1971 or the artistic "dry the rain" by the sadly missed BETA BAND...Enjoy and have a great time !!!

Last for today...fabulous band, fabulous song...STONE ROSES' waterfall live...already 20 years...the time seems to pass very very quickly these days...

In 2000, a great compilation by KINDERCORE label called WETHANKYOU...3 CDs in a beautiful pack...as written in the notes:

"1:00 Am at the Atomic, Athens, GA. April 1996: "there are a lot of good bands in this town, let's make a tape..." And this is what it got us; so releases and a whole lot of fun.
